The Fiddler is excited to present Andy Docherty for the first of our very special monthly residencies!

Andy Docherty is a Scots born vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, writer & producer who first came to attention as lead vocalist in seminal Trip Hop pioneers N.T. Signed to BMG, EPIC, EMI and Response Records, he has been releasing material prolifically since the early ‘90’s right up to the Scottish Album Of The Year 2020 nominee ‘Triple Platinum’ with side project ‘Grace Clones. You can also hear his soulful, honest vocals on collabs with artists as diverse as Chris Coco, The Black Eyed Peas, Rodney P, The Young Disciples, Casbah 73 and Joseph Malik, Andy has an instantly recognisable voice and a searing range that keeps an audience engaged.

Appearing in residency at The Fiddler with friends & collaborators The Caped Crusaders: Drums: Hamid Mantu (Transglobal Underground), Bass: André Shapps (Big Audio Dynamite/The Rotten Hill Gang), Guitar: Kenny Barry (Rose Royce/Omar/Mica Paris/The Bullits), Keys: Richie Stevens (The Lipstick Melodies) and Flute/Sax: Carlton Headley (A man who needs no introduction!) playing songs by some of their favourite artists in these special shows expect to hear everything from Gil Scott Heron to Sly Stone! A night of soul/blues/funk/rock/reggae/originals & whatever else they feel like playing! Unmissable!
